The video presents a clinical case of a 78-year-old woman with multiple cardiovascular risk factors and comorbidities, suffering from acute decompensated heart failure due to severe combined valvular heart disease.
The patient underwent a stepwise percutaneous intervention starting with mitral valve edge-to-edge repair using MitraClip devices, followed by tricuspid valve repair and left atrial appendage closure for stroke prevention due to atrial fibrillation and bleeding risk.
The multidisciplinary heart team approach ensured tailored management of complex valvular lesions, demonstrating improved clinical outcomes and quality of life.
