When to best combine guided-directed medical therapy and devices at discharge of acute heart failure

Session objectives:

  • To learn about the benefits and limits of optimisation of guided-directed medical therapy for heart failure
  • To understand when and how to assess the need for cardiac resynchronisation therapy
  • To understand benefits of combining guided-directed medical therapy and cardiac resynchronisation therapy when needed
